Via Hansa & Borealis has as all other companies in the tourism industry been through four very challenging months.

Very early when the covid-19 crisis started the company management made the decision that the only way to secure our existence in a future was to maintain our activities on our own capital and funds.

“We have at all offices continued to fulfill all obligations to customers, suppliers and our own people. Protecting our commercial relations and strong partnerships and taking care of our own people has been our number one priority. We have at all destinations been taking advantage of available governmental support and we have at the same time reduced our organization and staff”.

We have now have taken the consequences of this situation and have proceeded with a full organizational reconstruction of the Danish company.  A difficult and tough decision, though the only responsible way forward in the light of the future prognosis of our industry.

The legal reconstruction of the Nordic unit with head office in Copenhagen is now a fact. We are continuing our  business activities under the same name as before: Via Hansa & Borealis Copenhagen / Borealis Destination Management Ltd. All other offices of Via Hansa & Borealis are unaffected and we continue as before with our activities in the Nordic and Baltic countries, Russia and beyond
