The airline SAS was exposed to a cyber-attack on Tuesday.
For a while the website was down – then the wrong name and resort appeared in the app.
-The more people who log in, the worse it gets, said Karin Nyman, communications director at SAS, to Aftonbladet.
SAS was exposed to a cyber-attack which caused the website not to function as it should on Tuesday.
– We, just like other actors, that have been exposed to a cyberattack today, said Anna Sandell, press manager at SAS, to TT during the evening.
It was not known at the time who was behind the attack.
– We can only see that it is down, and we are working hard to restore it and stop the attack, she continued.
People that Aftonbladet spoke to said that they saw other people’s names when they logged into the app to look at their trips.
Karin Nyman, communications director at SAS, said later on Tuesday that they were working on solving the problem and that the full focus was on getting the app shut down before more personal data was leaked.
At the same time, SAS also urged users not to log into the app.
