With effect from 2 January 2020, Singapore Airlines increases its flights on the route between Copenhagen and Singapore from 5 weekly to daily departures. The route is part of Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) Joint Venture and with 40% increase in frequency from Copenhagen to Southeast Asia’s gateway, Singapore, tourism will increase and benefit the business community. The extra departures out of Copenhagen on Monday and Wednesday give customers far more flexible travel opportunities.
The route will be operated with the Airbus A350, one of the world’s most modern and fuel-efficient aircraft. The A350 has a more aerodynamic design and is made of lightweight materials, resulting in up to 25%. less fuel consumption. The aircraft has quiet engines, a spacious cabin with LED lights designed to soothe, giving passengers a more comfortable ride.
