Late-summer holidaymakers to Spain could face delays if airport handler strikes go ahead.
Spanish unions representing the workers have announced eight walkouts – two each day during peack hours- starting next Friday (September 4) to be repeated on the following three Fridays (11, 18 and 25).
The strikes are set to take place at Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante, Malaga and Palma, Majorca, airports.
Unions claim easyJet and Vueling airlines would be the most affected.
The strikes are part of a long-running dispute with airport handling bosses.
