Invitations to Vestnorden Travel Mart, this year in Nuuk in Greenland, will be send out in the coming month.

Lykke Geisler Yakaboylu, Relationship Manager at Visit Greenland:

”Last time the travel mart was in Greenland was in 2013. In an anonymous survey the sellers and buyers valuated the mart very positive with 51 % saying it had surpassed their expectations and 49 % that their expectations had been met. We intend to make it more successful this year by creating new inventions and reuse the most successful from 2013.

The Vestnorden Travel Mart will offer 5 different pre-tours to the international buyers to see by themselves the strength in each destination and the facilities.

The pre-tours go to Colorful Nuuk, North Greenland, South Greenland, Destination East Greenland and Destination Arctic Circle.

There will be space on each trip for three days for 10 agents and tour operators.

Appointments-day has been cut to one day instead of 1, 5 days.

Visit Greenland has instead created something more secret called Colourful Nuuk Adventures.

”All the nature activities will cover the whole capital of Nuuk. It could be everything from city-tours, cultural events, food-tasting or hiking the mountains or even sailing. The intention is to make a flexible sitting for networking for the 380 participants at Vestnorden Travel Mart
