Matka, the Finnish Travel Show, this year January 17-21 with a professional working day on January 16th, is now the largest travel show the trade in The Nordic and Baltic area.

“We are now the biggest travel show in the Nordic and Baltic area, where the travel professionals like agents and tour operators now can find contacts from more than 90 countries all over the world. And we have made it easy for them to find the contacts.
On the show´s website it is possible to create your way through the show as all exhibitors with contact details are shown here. It is also possible to find you way around the world as the following countries are exhibiting together with partners from the private industry. All the Nordic and Baltic countries are present, except for Denmark.”
Among exhibitors are Republic of Tatarstan, Ethiopia, Malaysia and Sarawak, Namibia, Korea.
Among other countries with private industry partners are Jordan, Finland, Tanzania, South Africa, Slovenia, Brazil, Dubai, Morocco, Cuba, Argentina, Slovak, Israel, Poland, Mexico, Uganda, Tunisia, China, Seychelles, Thailand, Iceland, Croatia, USA, Spain, Czech, Lithuania, North Cyprus, Malta, India, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Sweden, Turkey and Venezuela.
“The aim is to bring the sellers and buyers of travel services and products together at the Global Workshop on the 16th in effective prescheduled meetings that can be continued on the following fair days as all service and product providers are also exhibiting at MATKA Nordic Travel Fair.
The busiest travel trade fair in Northern Europe takes place in Helsinki, Finland. Though January is cold in Helsinki, the traveling Finns and professionals flock for the year’s most important event of the travel industry. MATKA gives them the opportunity to get in contact with over 53,000 consumer visitors, and over 20,000 travel trade professionals (visitors and sellers).
MATKA 2015 had over 68.000 visitors, all potential customers for the exhibitors.
The Fair is a diverse event with many possibilities in reaching both the professionals and the consumers. In the upcoming event, we will do extensive marketing cooperation with Finnair to attract even more international professionals to visit MATKA.
Sun&Sea area is on easy way to make an impact in the decision-making of both public and travel trade professionals. Area is going to be built as a tropical holiday village, where visitors interested in beach resorts have a chance to get information.
