This coming winter, Finnair will add extra flights to Nordic destinations. This includes Rovaniemi in Lapland, with up to 63 weekly flights, as well as the Norwegian destinations Tromsø and Trondheim.
This upcoming winter season, the Finnish airline, Finnair, will add extra flights to Rovaniemi in the Finnish part of Lapland and to Tromsø and Trondheim in Norway. This means that Finnair will have up to 63 weekly flights to Rovaniemi, which is 13 more than last winter.
The extra flights will be added on the most popular travel days of the week, Wednesday, and the weekend. Therefore, on Sundays during the busiest hours, Finnair will have flights to Rovaniemi every half hour.
Additionally, Finnair will fly from Rovaniemi to Tromsø in Northern Norway six days a week. The Rovianiemi-Tromsø route was introduced in December 2023 and is operated as part of route: Helsinki- Rovaniemi-Tromsø and Tromsø-Tovaniemi-Helsinki. The Finnish airline is also increasing the number of flights to Trondheim, where Finnair will fly to the popular destination six times a week during the upcoming winter season.
