Starting January 1st, 2019 citizens of 52 countries will be able to receive electronic visas under the extended list of grounds for entry.
Following the changes in regulations, all applicants should submit their printed e-Visas (along with their valid travel documents) to Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service officers upon entering Ukraine.
Currently, the only purposes for visit are tourist or business trips. As of January 1st, grounds for entry will now include medical treatment, trips for relatives, and visas for journalists.
How to apply for e-Visa:
- Register at the MFA web-platform http://evisa.mfa.gov.ua
- Fill in application form online, upload copies of necessary documents (passport, photo, document confirming the purpose of the visit, etc.), pay the fee online by MasterCard/Visa card.
- Receive e-Visa via email (pdf format).
