The 2021 edition of Holidays for All in Messecenter Herning has been cancelled. The fair, which has 60,000 visitors annually, will be held again in 2022. In Week 8 next year, MCH has an online concept of holiday inspiration.
As expected, the Holiday for All will not be until next year, as a result of the corona crisis. The fair is Scandinavia’s largest with around 60,000 visitors to Messecenter Herning at the end of February.
The final decision to cancel Holidays for All next year and move the fair to 25-27 February 2022 came on Monday. At its press conference, the government extended the forced closure of trade fair activities until 28 February.
This will not allow the fairs to be carried out until 28 February. This means that Scandinavia’s largest holiday fair, Holidays for All, which should have taken place on 26-28 February 2021, has been cancelled, MCH wrote in a press release.
Although it will not be possible to meet in MCH Messecenter Herning for Holidays for All next year, the project team is working on an online opportunity where visitors can continue to pick up holiday inspiration and seek good travel offers, MCH informs.
“We want to gather the exhibitors online in week 8 and get the Danes’ holiday dreams to germinate until we can be more together again in 2022. The idea is to stay in touch between exhibitors and visitors online at a time when it is not possible to gather many people,” says Ferie for Alle’s project manager, Anders Ladefoged Mortensen.
MCH managed to hold this year’s All Holiday at the end of February this year. Holidays for All 2020 had 1,190 exhibitors from 40 countries and regions in the 14 exhibition halls, where they were visited by 63,362 visitors.
