From now on, Brussels Airlines’ customers who fly to Africa, the US or Canada have the choice out of 3 classes instead of 2. Economy Plus is Brussels Airlines’ answer for passengers travelling in Economy Class who want a comfort upgrade at a low fare. To celebrate the launch, the airline upgrades 20,000 of its customers for free in July and August.
Next to its Business and Economy Class, Brussels Airlines now offers a new choice on its intercontinental flights: Economy Plus. Economy Plus travelers sit on the first 4 rows of the Economy Class cabin, can enjoy more leg room and can relax in an Economy seat that reclines 20 degrees instead of 8 degrees for optimal comfort. Before their meal they get treated to a glass of champagne and luxury items like an amenity kit, a hot towel, a linen pillow and a Neuhaus chocolate giftbox.
To travel in Economy Plus, passengers pay a supplement of €120 per one-way. This price is available to everyone, even if they bought the lowest Economy Class fare. For the launch, a special discovery rate of €99 is now available. 20,000 lucky holiday makers and businessmen who have a flight coming up in July or August have received a complimentary upgrade to be the first to test the new Economy Plus class.
