Billund Airport has just won the World Cup in route development and marketing in the category ‘up to 4 million passengers’. The World Cup was held on September 23 in Adelaide, Australia.
The confetti cannons burst, the cheers were high and the smiles were great when CEO Jan Hessellund and marketing manager Jesper Klausholm at Billund Airport had to pick up the statuette to win the World Cup in the category of ‘up to 4 million passengers a year’.
” It is a huge recognition to win the World Cup trophy. It is, after all, a physical proof that we are among the strong in the airport industry. So I can only thank our good staff for lifting each of their tasks to the next level. And of course we are also grateful for our partnerships – without airlines there is no airport, says Jan Hessellund CEO at Billund Airport.
