Amadeus announced, that Expedia Group will integrate its NDC content into its portfolio,
as part of an expanded strategic partnership.
The collaboration enables airlines to utilize of advanced merchandising techniques to
reach Expedia Group’s customer base. Expedia and Amadeus have worked closely
together for about 20 years, and according to Chris Hodges, VP of global connectivity and
partner solutions at Expedia Group, views this collaboration as a testament to their shared
vision of advancing the travel industry through technology and collaboration.
“Building on our relationships with both airlines and travel sellers, we are in a strong
position to foster cross-industry collaboration on NDC to the benefit of travelers
everywhere,” Amadeus EVP of global sales for airline IT, distribution and global online
travel agencies Sam Abdou said in a statement.
