Tourism New Zealand has launched a series of training videos for travel consultants.

There are five short videos, each addressing a key selling theme and answering questions often asked by agents.

Themes include overcoming barriers to travel, landscapes and wildlife, self-drive holidays, and flying domestically in New Zealand.

The tourist office said the 3-5 minute videos were designed for time-pressed agents who want to pick up the basics of selling the destination.

“This comes a year after the relaunch of the 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist Programme. In that time we have seen a 92% increase in registrations for the programme and we now have over 650 certified New Zealand specialists across the UK. These new videos help strengthen our assets package along with showing our ongoing commitment to the trade.”
