“We welcome Cyprus as a new member.”
So said Stig Kaspersen, director of tourism for Portugal and President of ANTOR, Denmark, the union of foreign tourist offices in Denmark.
Once a year, ANTOR Denmark organizes an excursion to the press and agents. This year the excursion was to the Old City of Aarhus, the most popular tourist attraction in Aarhus.
About 25 took part in the excursion, where Stig Kaspersen told that ANTOR, Denmark, is discussing a partnership with the larger ANTOR Sweden.
During the bus trip from Copenhagen to Aarhus, participants had 45 minutes to answer a rather severe quiz. Cyprus had the last question:
What are the EU’s cultural cities in 2017?
The answer: Aarhus and Paphos in Cyprus.
