As the host city, Adelaide will benefit from an expected $10 million contribution to the local economy during the event, which will contribute towards achieving the state’s Tourism 2020 goal of $115 billion in overnight expenditure. More than 550 Australian tourism businesses will showcase their products and services during the more than 50,000 business appointments held at the event. This is the third time Adelaide has hosted ATE, first in 2006 and again in 2010.
